Like An Unmoved Stone

The rainiest window on the darkest day
The sky is grey
And here I’ll stay.
Shaking trees waving left and right
In dusky light
Soon starts the night.
The sound of the raindrops is fast and loud
There is no doubt
I won’t go out.
Far from here the sirens blare
I don’t know where
Oh, don’t you dare!
Cold, stormy world, please leave me alone!
I’m like a stone
And you should have known.
